The Embi Mole Rat (Tachyoryctes spalacinus) is a species of rodent in the Spalacidae family. It is endemic to Kenya. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, moist savanna, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and heavily degraded former forest.
